Issa de’ Mar designers Marissa Eveland and Melissa Jasniy first bonded over their shared passions for sewing and surfing in their home on the North Shore of Oahu. They soon began hand-sewing designs in the basement of a beach bungalow and selling them out of an ice cream truck. They quickly became known on the island for their high-quality surf-inspired swimsuits. Today, every piece of Issa de' Mar's line is still designed in Hawaii. Their swimwear and beach apparel is created in a wide range of colors--think orchid, chocolate, copper, honey, mint, and more--featuring their signature caging and slits.
