Issa De' Mar's Tropical Allure
Fun fact: Marissa Eveland and Melissa Jasniy, the designers behind Issa De'Mar, launched the sexy, stylish swimwear company out of a tiger-striped ice cream truck in Oahu in 2013. Talk about kicking things off with a bang! Since then, each season has been consistently more interesting, wearable, and game-changing than the last. Last week saw the debut of their latest collection at the Funkshion tent at Miami Swim Week, complete with to-die-for flower crowns from @ocean_dreamerr.
While we have to wait for that new collection, there are plenty of wear-now suits from the IDM 2017 collection that will help you make the most of what's left of summer. Below is a scrapbook of some of our faves from the brand's gorgeous Instagram feed.
The San Sebastian cutout suit is as hot as its namesake city in Spain.
The strappy allure of the Hina top is that it's deep on detail, but also super wearable for actual swimming/surfing/real-life beach time.
This one piece is proof that they care just as much about how great you look while you're walking away.
The ocean blue tie-dye is one of our favorite prints of the season.
The IDM girl is always in it for the fun.
Glistening copper in the sun — why did it take so long for this hue to hit its stride?
Color-blocked simplicity — the Malia is on-trend but also incredible classic in its streamlined styling.
This snap sums it up: the Issa De' Mar girl is at her happiest when she's at one with the waves.
