California sisters change the bikini game
By Korrie Martinez,

There’s something to be desired about a day at the beach. Whether it’s the peaceful clarity that comes from staring off into the horizon, the perfect salt water waves that form in your hair after a dip in the ocean, or the simple pleasure of wearing nothing but a bikini from morning to night. Growing up on a heavy dose of sun-induced serotonin, Orange County sisters Oleema and Kalani Miller developed a love for beach days at an early age.

As young women with undeniable yet separate passions, the sisters embarked on individual journeys. Oleema indulged in fashion, creating unique pieces while traveling the world. Kalani followed her desire for education to the University of California, Santa Barbara where she studied communications, English, and business.

Together, with worldly inspiration and newfound knowledge, the Miller sisters launched MIKOH Swimwear.

It wasn’t long after that the line’s cheeky bottoms and intricate woven and string detailing were made famous among fashion It Girls and showcased to the world in the 2010 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.

Always seamless and hardware free, MIKOH combines comfort with the unique; featuring figure accentuating cuts to create unparalleled swimsuits for the chic and confident. Many of MIKOH’s signature styles carry over season-to-season, introduced in new statement colors and prints.

Our repeat favorite is the Xavier one piece, which, with its crochet netted back and bikini front, changed the bathing suit game entirely. This year we fell for the Banyans, a string racerback bikini top, which merges sexy and sporty. The 2014 look we love is the Kahala bikini top, a web-like halter. Like all MIKOH bikinis, tops can be mixed and matched with any bottoms.

Look for MIKOH bikinis in the Bikini.com shop later this week.
